Historian, father and husband living in Japan since 2006, Romulo Ehalt makes a living teaching Portuguese and working at an international broadcasting service.

1983 – Born in Ponta Grossa, Paraná, Brazil.

2001 – Initiated undergraduate study in the History Department of the State University of Rio de Janeiro.

2003-2004 – JASSO exchange student at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.

2006 – Graduated from the History Department, licentiate and baccalaureate.

2006-2008 – Research student at the University of Tokyo, MEXT exchange student.

2007 – Started working as a professional radio announcer.

2009-2011 – Masters at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.

2011-2014 – JSPS fellow researcher (D-1 category), Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.

September 2014 to March 2015 – Lecturer at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.

Since September 2014 – Lecturer at the Keio University, Keio Research Center for Foreign Language Education.

Since March 2015 – Lecturer at the Josai International University.

Since March 2016 – Lecturer at the Keio University, Faculty of Law.
